Work as a promotion staff for a national magazine "Gatra" and free-lance assistant for HR division  of a national bank, and as event organizer had coloured my life before entering the life path in conservation world (not to mention, as salesgirl, language teacher, and  door-to-door package delivery work :)).

Putu Sari -  joined Rare as Assistant for Course Manager of Pride for Indonesia,  in March, 2006.  In 2001-2002, Putu Sari  - worked with Conservation International Indonesia – had the first involvement with Rare as a Pride Campaign Manager (Kent 1) in 2001-2002 for the Togean Island, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.  Before involving in Pride, she was unsure about her career path. It was during and after the period of her campaign, that she finds and determines her path as a conservation educator.  Putu Sari ambitious is in building human capacity to enhance people welfare in relation with environment quality improvement toward balance in ecosystem and living in harmony with nature. She is now Pride Course Manager of Pride for Indonesia, since October 2007.

During her period working with CI-Indonesia, Putu Sari was the assistant manager for Gede Pangrango Program, working with youth, school group, local people, and scientist to developed & implemented the education and interpretation program for Bodogol Conservation Education Center, as well as involved in developing the marketing & promotion component of the Center. After 5 years of working with CI-Indonesia, Putu Sari took a path as an independent worker, assisting various local group as trainer and consultant,  in project management, developing small grant proposal, and conservation education program. She had wrote two books on conservation education, as well as gave presentation in various event such as the SCB XIX annual meeting, CBD-COP7th, and the ITMEMS/ICRI Forum. She is an environmental columnist for “Modern Mom” magazine, a free women magazine distributed for Mother Care customers in Indonesia, and still does conservation education activity for schools in her home areas in her free time.

 Putu Sari received her management training from the Environmental Leadership Training by Smithsonian Institute.

I help a group of  biologist & primatologis who have difficulties in developing a conservation educational program ... and was confirmed when I joined Pride ! (after more than 20 years being raised and cared by a well-known indonesian ecologist/social-forester a.k.a my beloved father! :))
