MANILA, June 9, 2010—Priests from the Archdiocese of Cebu and some religious congregations have begun a serious campaign to preach the importance of being stewards of God’s creation.

Augustinian friars led by Fr. Tito D. Soquino, OSA, have launched a crusade to preserve marine life and stop illegal fishing around Cebu area.

Soquino is lead convener of the Knights of the Sea – a group of concerned clergymen from the archdiocese and religious congregations in Central Philippines.
