All for one ... one for all
For low carbon society like people in Tempurukan village, Ketapang, West Kalimantan, that pay less than three dollars per month for electricity bill, receiving compat fluoroscent lamps (CFLs) will not give so much economic incentive. For them, energy saving lamps are not so important while almost everyday they do not get 24-hour electricity. For them, the debate around developed countries' commitment to reduce green gas houses and tug of war between economic development and conservation does not make any sense. But one thing is clear for them: the climate has changed: not easy for them now to predict when to plough their field or how much they can gain from their harvest this year. Long period dry season and days of downpour show these people that their life can be harder than before.
