Yayorin has three main programs. REASON (Raise Education and Awareness to Save Organgutan and Nature) is an education and awareness program. It consists of three sub programs: MELU (Mobile Education and Library Unit) which visits various institutions to raise awareness on conservation issues; Kampung Konservasi which offers integrated educational conservation activities at the community level; and Pustaka Yayorin which issues tri-monthly bulletins, research reports, and books. BCP (Belantikan Conservation Programme) is a research and community empowerment program which works with local communities to develop methods to minimize environmental impact on forest ecosystems while maintaining their traditional lifestyles. HOPE (Help Orangutan through People Empowerment) is a communication and fundraising program targeting the general public to raise environmental awareness and acquire funding for future Yayorin programs.
