All profiles are publicly viewable by anyone on the Web. You do not have to be a member of RarePlanet to view content on the site. If you want to contribute content (post a forum message, blog comment, etc.) you must be a member of the site and logged in.

There are a couple of different ways to include images with blog posts. There is a image upload button below the text editor that will upload an image to the side of your text entry. This is a simple way to include photos.
There is an alternative way to include images that will allow you to embed the images along with text, as this FAQ is designed. The image below displays both options.

Copying content from Microsoft Word can be very problematics as it will insert many un-necessary tags into your blog post. You can avoid this by using the Paste from Word button on the toolbar as displayed below. Simply select the content from your word document, copy the content, select the Paste from Word button from the editor and then paste (Control + V on most computers). It is highly recommended you format your blog post on the site rather than Word.
