Gaana and Taimen Campaign Featured in Regional Newspaper

The recent edition of the Khentii aimag newspaper (a large region/district in the Northeast of Mongolia where Onon River is located) interviewed me about all of my work, including the taimen campaign, and my thoughts.

Taimen Migrate all the way to New Zealand!

The December Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) convention being held in New Zealand will include a 2-day symposium and workshop on taimen conservation efforts globally, including the hucho taimen species in our very own Onon River, Mongolia.

Khuvsgol Learning Trip captured in WWF Panda News local newspaper

WWF-Mongolia's communications team wrote an article about the recent Khuvsgol fishing learning trip Gaana conducted as part of his campaign follow-up activities. This article is featured in Panda News which is distributed for free among all Onon River communities.

Taimen Song Recorded!

The taimen song was sung by volunteers during the 2010 Pride campaign of Onon River, but during the continuation campaign we finally had time to have it properly composed and recorded. Here is the final version with English translation for lyrics attached.
