After endless meetings and million and one phone calls back and forth, i finally came face to face with my campaign bus that i have been working so hard at getting done. I was so emotional that morning when i saw the bus come into the village to pick up the community reps. The kids loved the bus and were chattering nonstop about it. The reps had pride on their faces and it made my heart jump seeing that we acknowledged the work that they do and their gratitude for it.
Seeing the bus drive off into the sunrise towards Savusavu, I was very hopeful and confident as after the two day meeting we had, I had heard more positive things about the campaign and more requests for materials for the sites.
I am looking forward to one day soon when i get back from Arlington to travel on the bus to my village once this campaign is over.
